I have the proxy button „un-ticked“ but ti still re-directs to the proxy if I launch from AOMPlayer. If I launch Pandora first and then open AOMRecord, I am okay.
The new changes are working. The reason I tried the proxy was that I thought that there was something needed within the proxy to see the meta data. I was wrong, but now it wants to launch the proxy whether the box is ticked or not.
And „yes“ it seems to working fine now for Pandora, Slacker, and WinAmp.
I cannot get last.fm to be recongnized…with or without the fm.mini running.

I have AOMRecord 2.4.614 running. I can launch AOMPlayer and hit Pandora mini, but there is a lin that asks for a proxy. I do not have an AOM proxy.
If I type in http://www.pandora.com in a separate Internet Explorer window, pandora loads up without any problem at all. It plays very nicely. There is no „media data from provider“ obtained. The music is playing and picked up in the audio divices, but no data. The provider just has a dot (button) and does not say Pandora. When I try to open Pandora via the proxy, it says Pandora, but the proxy window keeps coming up.
If I try slacker radio, I cannot launch it from AOMPlayer, because I need a proxy. If I load http://www.slacker.com and paly it that way, the media provider show slacker and teh little separate icon window show the album cover, but the data is not picked up.
Yahoo Launchcst has now hooked up with CBS and looks similar to AOL with CBS. The media provider states Y!Music Launchcast, but no media data.
For Live365. The Live365 name pops up briefly in the media provider line, then a dot (button) shows up. Live365 always opens with a comercial now so this may be an issue.
ACCURadio works exactly as it should. All the information shows up including the album, but not for all channels.
……although, I notice now that you have an update, while I was experimenting here and writing this note…….

I can listen to slacker and jango, but do not get any data information. I can pick up the data from WinAmp, but not slacker or jango.

I downloaded the new MSIE file and tried it out with last.fm. The station showed up as last.fm and teh song and artist were correct. The album is correct also.
Very nice! You really know what you are doing.

Sorry, I see the problem with the folders. The Station/Genre is not picked up by AOMRecord from last.fm and so the files are just placed into the Music Folder. I can sort this out without much problem.

I really cannot figure as to why there is static sometimes. I thought it was related to the volume but perhaps not. The volume is interesting though. The height of the graph will lool good after the automatic gain, but then with the next song it may dop to 1/4 height and then maybe later it would be in the red zone.
I will check it out some more and then listen to the mp3’s a bit and go from there.
One observation though, it seems the songs are not loaded into a folder with the last.fm recording. I will also look at that.

One thing that is tough though is that the recording volume changes quite a bit between songs.. I use the automatic gain for one song but the volme my drop or increase for the next song. If it increses, I think this is where I get static in teh recording when listening to it later on.

I have played with the sequence a bit with your last note. Now, I opend last.fm first. Then I opened AOMRecord followed by lauching the applet aboev. There is then a prompt for my ID and now when I click OK there is no script error and the tagged informaion show up fine. When there is a change in the song or artist, it does not change right away, but it eventually changes.
I will now try to record a little.

I clicked on the link you gave above….then there was a dialog box that says „Do yu want to save this file?“…I click „Run“…then there is a security warning to run from an unknown pulisher, I click OK…then the „Explorer User Prompt“ box comes up in German and English asking me to enter the last.fm user name…I enter it…..there is an immediate Script Error Box….Line:104, Char: 4, Error: ’null‘ is nul or not an object, Code: 0, URL: file:///C:/Users/sal/AppData/Local/Temp/radA8CD8.tmp.htm …then it asks to continue on this page…I click yes….then nothing happens….
Note that at the same time the script error pops up there is a small window that pops up at exactly the same time and it says „fm.mini“ in multiple colors. Also, the AOMRecord software recognizes teh window as last.fm as the source, but of course there is no artist because there is nothing palaying.

I tried running this beta software to launch the last.fm window, but I get a script eror as a pop up window. The little white pop-up with last.fm is open but there is nothing playing.

I copied the line from the „black list“ and substituted teh name of the song for the asterisk so I would get all the songs from that artist.
What settings do I use on the Recording Tab? Is there a setting that directs the software to look at the „white list“ only?

I may be misunderstanding the setup, but I created a list with the following: Jason Mraz – * entered (without the underline). What else do I need to do in order to get it to recognize the one artist. I would like, for example, only record Jason Mraz from the Jason Mraz station.
