No, you don’t have to pay again, but you must do it exactly as described here. I cannot issue a new key if these conditions are not met (i.e. you must copy your old key into the remarks field). You’d have to pay the upgrade fee only if you cannot provide the old key.

I tried it several times and always got the same result: It definitely works. Have a look at this example:
Your problem doesn’t have anything to do with the registration.
What version of AOMrecord are you using?
Did you apply all updates using the built in update feature?
Regarding your registration key: If there is a problem with the key you are always welcome to get a new one using the procedure mentioned in this forum. Again, if there is a probem with the key it has nothing to do with your SHOUTCAST problem.

I began having problems with my recording back in Sep 2006, I have not used AOM since then as I could not fix it. I really enjoy the product so I reloaded the software just so that I could have a fresh go at it on the computer.

Under AOM for media the corresponding was:

I am using the same computer, with the same username and organization as registered. I am still using Windows XP Professional (Service Pack two vice one is the only difference).
I went through the upgrade portion and inputted the following information you send on the registration portion of AOM, again no luck. What am I doing wrong?
I have tried inputting the reg data but no luck
Any suggestions? I do not know what else I can do? I don’t really want to reload the whole computer again? Would the upgrade on IE 7 make the difference?

Das ist immer dann der Fall, wenn AOMrecord die Musikquelle noch nicht erkannt hat. Du musst also auf jeden Fall Musik wiedergeben, damit Du diese Einstellungen ändern kannst.
Wenn Du von einer Quelle aufnehmen willst, von der AOMrecord die Mediendaten nicht erkennen kann, also wenn nur der • unter Mediendaten vom Anbieter übernehmen auf der Registerkarte Aufnahme sichtbar ist, musst Du diese Einstellung deaktivieren.

Danke für die Info. Wie man an einen neuen Key kommt, steht in den FAQ. Ich glaube aber nicht, dass es damit funktionieren wird. Wir können es aber gerne einmal probieren.

Ich arbeite an einer neuen Version für Vista. Es wundert mich, dass Du AOMrecord überhaupt zum Laufen bekommen hast. Vielleicht kannst Du dazu ja einmal etwas veröffentlichen.

Hm, jetzt wird’s schwierig. Ich kann Dir nur noch anbieten, dass ich mir das einmal selbst per Remote Unterstützung (siehe Windows-Hilfe) ansehe. Wenn Du damit einverstanden bist, melde Dich per PM, damit wir die Vorgehensweise besprechen können.

Nein, viel mehr an Ideen habe ich dazu leider auch nicht.
Dass Du nur eine Datei AOMrec findest könnte daran liegen, dass Dein Explorer die Dateiendung (-typ) nicht anzeigt. Wenn die Datei als Konfigurationsdatei bezeichnet ist, ist es die. Allerdings darf die, die sich im Programmordner befindet, nicht gelöscht werden, weil sie als Vorlage für die neu zu erstellende dient.
Eventuell könnte es helfen, das System mit Hilfe der Systemwiederherstellung auf einen früheren Zeitpunkt zurück zu setzen.

Bist Du sicher, dass Du den abgesicherten Modus verwendest (nicht mit Anmeldung als Administrator verwechseln!)?

Hallo Peter,
Ich würde einmal die Datei C:Dokumente und EinstellungenDein Benutzername*AnwendungsdatenAOMrecAOMrec.ini löschen. Dann sind alle zwar alle Einstellungen weg aber eventuell geht es ja wieder.
An AOMrecord selbst liegt es eindeutig nicht. Denk noch einmal nach: Bestimmt hast Du irgend etwas an deinem Computer (Rechner, Windows, …) geändert. Hast Du den MS IE 7 installiert und/oder etwas an den IE-Einstellungen geändert?
Mehr kann ich von hier leider auch nicht tun.
Schreib bitte, ob es geholfen hat.

In AOMrecord.msi ist noch nicht die neueste Version enthalten. Diese wird erst beim Ausführen der Update-Funktion auf der Seite Info & Registrierung herunter geladen und installiert.
Achtung!
Das Update kann nur ausgeführt werden, wenn es nicht von irgendwelchen Sicherheitsprogrammen blockiert wird. Also die entsprechende Funktion ausschalten!

I suggest: Why don’t you just try Yahoo Music? They have a lot of good radio stations and for a very low proce you get the music in very good quality. And you can put together your own station that plays exactly your taste (similar to Pandora). Of course it works with AOMrecord.
