I have tried to record songs from aol, the folder is created where the songs go, but no song files are created and at the bottom it says

Warning: More than 30 recoding buffers occupied! AOMrecord

I have done everything it says in FAQ, but nothing works, i got a Pentium 4 3.2gHz 728ram and never had troubles, also processor is only at 5-10% ram is at 200ram. so where is the troubles, i have recorded many songs before

the situation is – I have used your software for 8-12 mothand I really like it, but here a week ago I saw those essages at the bottom im not sure how long they have been there, but I noticed where I recorded some music from aol nothing came up in the music folder, no music files.

Im not sure if I dare try a new version, im not sure where my licence is, but maybe you have it on file.

you can also reply in german, it no problem.

Anyway, I really don’t know what to do for you from here. I am sure there is something wrong on your system. Please give me more information.

Have a look into the Windows Task Manager to see what is loaded and what occupies CPU and memory.

Hello – I have now reinstalled windows XP, but still the same troubles, I will also say the trouble I had in the begining, with hacks in the recorded files is no more that was be cause of 100% CPU usage, but now its at 5-10%

well a new install of XP, low CPU usage the whole time, uploaded the new AOMrecord, also tried to only have aom open and nothing els still get the same message at the bottom and Im pretty sure I have not done anything to the computer.

Are you using AOL Radio inside the AOL client? If so, launch it in the IE via AOMplayer or AOMrecord.

yes thats the wierd thing, I dont know, I recoded songs for a week ago then it happens, i have made a little progress today, I lauched it and could record 3 songs before the warning came.

It says that it needs more sound buffers for interim store than it has available. Normally this only occurs if there are other programs that occupy the CPU and prevent AOMrecord from processing the buffers (e.g. writing them to disk etc.).

Have a look at what uses the CPU extensively. Use the Task Manager to find this out.

Try this: In the file AOMrec.ini in your documents and settings folder (not the program folder) there is an entry labeled RecordingBuffers. Change its value to 200.

I have noticed when I first lauch aomrecord, then push the „launch selected url“ botton, then again close only aomrecord and launch aomrecord again I can record, about 5 songs, before the warnigs comes
