Hello.
I have recorded a lot of songs with AOM record. It works very well.
But after having recorded a lot of complete albums from Rhapsody, I tryed to rename files wich was completed in its folder (album). I did this in the background during recording a new album. I didn’t realize that this could be problems, but the program (FileRenamer) did play a sound when it was finished. (I turn it of after this happend). Now I have learned the lesson. And therefor I will give this hint to everyone; DO NOT use any programs in the background during recording. Just leave the computer alone and go and have a coffe or something else. Any small sounds from the PC will go via the soundcard and interfer with your recorded song and make a noise. Terrible but true. I am now confused over this and thinking af re-record all 33 albums. So I want to ask you: Is there any sound editing program that can look for a specific soundclip in my file?

Hi Rojben,
No, there is no program that can remove these sounds. But AOMrecord disables the system sounds if the corresponding setting is on. Anyway there are some programs that don’t use system sounds. Instead they produce their own noise. These cannot be filtered because their sound is not registered as system sound. E.g. all MS Office programs use this type of sound and therefore will not disturb your recordings.
