TeilnehmerRecently downloaded and installed v 2.2.531. Worked great and fixed all issues listed until the evening of 6/20. Now, the ‚get media data from provider‘ is not functional for either the AOL client program as well as the ‚launch selected URL‘ function.
In troubleshooting, I did a ’system restore‘ in XP to a date prior to last known good function, but it did not fix it. I also tried to use the earlier solution posted with the URL, but that URL was inaccessible via AOL as well as IE. I am hesitant to install and test AOMRECORD onto my other computer as I do not want to violate the TOS.
I’m very pleased with this product…the media recognition is the main benefit that I enjoy when using it. I am hoping that the fix is quick and simple.

TeilnehmerHi Unknown,
Please leave a real name, when posting here. It’s just a bit more friendly
.
Thank you very much for your advice. AOL has done some changes how they transfer the radio. I was able to fix this very quickly. Get the current update and you’ll be done (2.2.534).
Greetings

TeilnehmerWorks like a champ. I’m very impressed at your swift technical response. Sorry to have posted anonymous earlier, just registered with the forum today…still learning the protocol.
Thanks again and I really enjoy this product. Use it every day.

TeilnehmerHello Jack,
From your words I assume the update has been working smootly. Any problems to download? I’m just asking because until now one always had to download the whole package.
Please recommend AOMrecord to your friends. Sales figures are still far too low .
Have a nice day!

TeilnehmerThe download worked very efficiently. I just clicked the ‚look for update now‘ button, and it was very intuitive from there. It ‚felt‘ like a patch because it went so quickly, but I have broadband so it might have loaded the entire app update. Either way, it was quick and easy.
I’ve told lots of my friends about this product. I hope your sales pick up.

TeilnehmerThe ‚Recording‘ tab doesn’t show the media information even after I hit ‚Launch selected URL‘. However, if I log into the AOL client and run the Radio@AOL it works. I would like to do it with the external player because the AOL client is a memory hog. Any thoughts?
thanks.

TeilnehmerUsing Radio@AOL I no longer get the Station/genre data, the rest of the data is fine. This causes no files to be created. Is there a way to fix it so that stuff shows up? I tried uninstalling and the upgrading to 2.2.538a.
Thanks, Mike.

TeilnehmerMike,
I cannot confirm this problem. Everything is working fine here (US and German radio). Try another station please. If the problem stays, please send more information.

TeilnehmerThomas,
Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried Yahoo Music and it works fine. I’m not sure if it’s an AOL thing or just an IE browser thing. Is there any way to try maybe Firefox with the Radio@AOL?

TeilnehmerHello Mike,
No, AOMrecord does not support FireFox. Have you tried to start Radio@AOL from within AOMrecord?
Are you using the MS IE 7 beta?
